Suffolk-based alt-blues trio Horse Party are getting set to release their debut single "Back To Mono" on 15th April through Sturm Und Drang Recordings.
Horse Party formed when Shannon and Seymour got drunk together in a church and sent Ellie abusive messages, ordering her to join a band whose primary goal would be to make or lose a million pounds. Bound together by a shared love of Björk, Fugazi, Cat Power and terrible films, the threesome began playing together in September 2012. A free download of early song "Clarion Call" in January 2013 led to an invitation to broadcast live from the John Peel Centre for BBC Suffolk Introducing and a support date with fast-rising indie stars Dingus Khan. "Back To Mono" is their first single proper.
