Is Tropical have released their second album "I'm Leaving" today (out on French record label Kitsuné). You can check it out below via the SoundCloud widget.
Whilst racking up enough hedonistic experiences to last a lifetime, Is Tropical have been busy learning some important musical lessons: namely, that 100mph craziness isn't necessarily all you need to make a record. "I'm Leaving" marks itself out as a distinct progression from its predecessor.
Back in April, Is Tropical decided they wanted to be one of the first bands to play in Mongolia. They headed over there and took Noisey with them to report on their amazing trip. The first part of the documentary which resulted from it can also be seen below.
The band will be playing a few dates over the summer, including an album launch party at Hoxton Gallery in London on 23rd May.
