"Forever and After", the next track to be unveiled from Bedfordshire singer-songwriter Terry Emm's forthcoming third album "Starlight", is a summery slice of English jangly guitar-pop, with a rousing "seize the day" sentiment.

The single follows an online video release of album track "Loved And Never Lost", which now has over 20,000 views and was also picked up by Tom Robinson's "Fresh On The Net" and received subsequent airplay by Chris Hawkins on BBC 6 Music. The album's title track "Starlight" was also unveiled recently online to gain wide attention all over the blogosphere including "Track Of The Day" features on the taste-making "For Folks Sake" blog, Shout 4 Music and Indie London. "Forever And After", however, breaks out of the pastoral alt-folk stylings of these two tracks with an uplifting guitar-pop urgency and big harmonies. Striking a lyrical note of optimism for what may lie ahead, the warm melodic spring in the step of "Forever and After" demonstrates that Emm possesses a natural pop instinct.

"Starlight", to be released on 11th August on Azez Records, was produced by Michael Clarke and features strings by Calina De La Mare (Tindersticks, Ray Lamontagne). On the collaborations, Emm says “I was a fan of Michael's band Clarkesville when I was younger and their album inspired me a lot with its mix of uplifting pop rock tracks and singer-songwriter style tracks. After finishing my last album 'Petals Fallen Off The Sun', I was trying to get out of quite a dark place, which that album reflects and kept running into coincidences involving Michael Clarke. I found out that he was now producing and so eventually started laying down some experiments with him and the rest is history. Likewise, involving Calina, I had loved her arrangements on albums I'd listened to when I was young and thought I'd reach back into my youth musical influences in order to take it forward on this new album. The best music from your youth always sticks with you."
