Incoming! Future of the Left are streaming ‘If A&T Drank Tea What Would BP Do?’, taken from their forthcoming album The Peace & Truce of Future of the Left. The jagged album opener was previously given away to the hundreds of people who helped the band smash the target for the new records’ Pledge campaign in under three and a half hours. Now streaming publically, the song is a bass heavy slab of distorted noise-rock.

The Peace & Truce of Future of the Left is released on 8th April 2016 via Prescriptions Music. The band recently announced the album and a forthcoming UK tour (including their biggest UK headline show to date) with the following statement:

future of the left are once again contractually obliged to tell you that their new album the peace and truce of future of the left will be released on 8th April 2016 through their label, prescriptions.

recorded by anthony chapman at Monnow Valley studios in Monmouth it contains thirteen songs (you are welcome to call them ‘tracks’, only not near the band) and is, once again, their best one yet, obeying the universal law that the new album is always the best one, otherwise it wouldn’t be released in the first place.

the album (and, once again, an accompanying mini album which was recorded at the same time) will be available earlier to anybody who contributed to the pledgemusic campaign, which was launched in December 2015 and reached its funding target within three and a half hours (beating the 5 hours it took to fund the previous album how to stop your brain in an accident).
