Andrea Carri is an engineering graduate in his mid 20s and has played piano since he was 6 years old. He has already released three albums and carried out a fundraising campaign to make Chronos which was recorded in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
Despite, or perhaps because of, achieving a lot in a relatively short period, he is all too aware of the flow of time and the eleven tunes on the record are meditations on the theme of chronology. It includes three tracks entitled Past, Present and Future and begins with a tune called Time Flies.
The notion that music can somehow transcend time and space is reflected in a piece called Music Is Eternity and is in keeping with his philosophy encapsulated in a statement on his website to the effect that "Music is a metaphysical trip to unknown places".

Guest musicians play violin, cello, guitars and synth but this is primarily a solo piano album in the mould of fellow Italian Ludovico Einaudi.
The mood of the record is tranquil and reflective as if to remind listeners that moments passed in quiet contemplation of gentle melodies is time well spent.
