Our Rating:
Keith John Adams has been knocking about for a while now and these songs come from upcoming album ‘Roughhousing’ due out later this year.

The first thing that I notice is that his voice reminds me of Julian Cope and 'No Room' even sounds like the sort of musical setting he might have conjured up. It really only consists of a couple of different piano sounds (Farfisa and trad keys) and fairly up front vocals. In the background are some prangy noises and low key harmonies. “There’s no room for me in your life/There’s no window, no door/No ceiling, no floor/No room anymore”.

As you may be able to tell it is a plaintive and solemn affair, certainly in comparison with the flip. 'Music In My Feet' is a song about, well, the joys of music and it comes packaged in a kind of rumba. Thwack-y drums and percussion lead us round the ballroom and piano plonks along in its wake with guitar joining in here and there. It’s kind of a knee bone connected to the thigh bone type thing and it is good wholesome fun from start to finish. This is honest, open and catchy music and it is quite good.
