Review: 'MORRISON, DREW AND THE DARKWOOD'
'Tales Of Love, Sadness & Rock'n'Roll EP'

-  Label: 'Storm Cloud Agency Records'
-  Genre: 'Alt/Country' -  Release Date: '1st November 2015'

Our Rating:
The title says it all really although the 'rock'n'roll is of a fairly muted, desolate variety.

The North London-based band play lovesick tunes "for the lonely fugitive in us all" and their modest four track EP precedes a debut full length debut album due out in 2016.

Their brand of twangy Country soul is born of heartache with Morrison singing as though permanently on the brink of tears.

If you've been unlucky in love, these songs won't serve as much of a pick up but will make you realise than you're not alone in your suffering.
