Review: 'O'S, THE'
'Honeycomb'

-  Label: 'Punch Five Records'
-  Genre: 'Alt/Country' -  Release Date: '28th October 2016'

Our Rating:
John Pedigo and Taylor Young are a hard gigging duo from Dallas,

Their fourth album as The O's does pretty much what the previous three did.

Their stock in trade is the non nonsense delivery of boisterous banjo ballads with added harmonica and acoustic guitar.

Whether they are singing about break ups ( e.g. Brand New Start) or death (Reaper) the focus is always on the silver lining rather than the clouds.

They play fast and furious like a pair of buskers afraid of losing their audience if they slow things down.

It's fun at first but tiresomely repetitive by the end.
