This London-based duo - multi-instrumentalist Spencer and vocalist Mudibu -play the kind of classic rock that was all the rage in the early 1970s and, despite the best efforts of punks, still survives to this day.
They slickly tick all the boxes but I can't summon up any excitement for a record that seems too tied to formulas, and old ones at that.
You know just where the guitar solo going to appear and more or less what it will sound like.
The vocals have the kind of funky insincerity that briefly made Terence Trent D'Arby famous.
The record will have its admirers but I am not among them.
