Review: 'Echotape'
'This Could be Anything (EP)'

-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '22nd September 2017'

Our Rating:
It could be anything, but it’s actually an EP of contemporary (by which I mean any time after 1999) indie with a certain 80s rock tinge. It’s not just the synths: it’s the Prefab Sprout / Big Country / Deacon Blue vibe that has big and anthemic all over it, and sounds like it could fill an arena. These leanings filter through the bouncy, uptempo songs, while the last song on the EP, ‘4am’ reveals a more introspective side, rounding off an accomplished set.
