Our Rating:
This EP is way outside my normal musical tastes as I don't hear much Neo-soul unless it's on the radio. They come from Singapore and France and if you like Neo-Soul then this is a very sweet ep indeed.

This EP opens slowly with the blissed-out soul of It's Okay that eventually has a slow languorous bassline that Maya sings over in a very Beverley Knight style.

Caryatid has some gorgeous, muted trumpet floating among the beats as this sweet soul number bares its heart perfect for the lovers slow dance section of the evening.

Ladies Night is a lot less salacious than the Kool & The Gang hit of the same name, this is far more laid-back intimate tale of love and lust and thankfully no mention of those club nights that let Ladies in for free. Instead, this is made for the ladies that deserve to be worshipped.

Hard Shoes is a very gentle and careful kiss off as she prepares to walk away in those Hard Shoes, are they Hard to walk in or hard to look at either way she's walking away no matter how much she still loves you as the sweet neo-soul beats help her on her way.

Change Your Mind is the most upbeat sounding tune on the ep as this reminds me of India RE and has lush backing vocals and an early 80's keyboard sound wrapped up in some more modern beats and Maya telling the object of her desire that she can in fact change your mind and come running back to her.
