Our Rating:
Krishna Goineau is an artist who was born in Sri Lanka and has lived in among other places, Barcelona, Dusseldorf, Taiwan and is currently sequestered in The South of France. He has been involved in music since 1978 when he was a founder member of Xeerox and went on to also be involved in among other bands Liaisons Dangereuses, Metropakt and Velodrome. This album was recorded at his home studio between 2007 and 8 and is only just being released by Tapete records, which is fitting for an artist living life in the slow lane.

The album opens with the title track I Need A Slow that has long slow tones, deep vocals telling us I Need A Slow, without really saying just what they want to have so slowly you can barely see it move, as the ambient zone is very slowly entered.

Berenice Orion has a Kraftwerk style feel to the repetitive vocals and synth loop n bass backing that has one eye on the dancefloor, the other eye on Berenice Orion.

Aigle Noir journeys deep into the night as dawn approaches with the stream of consciousness vocals set against skittery synths, off percussion and a strange eerie sense of calm.

Nadar has pulses, beats, deadpan vocals, perfect of an odd electronica night, with some glitchy noises coming and going.
Shake Your Check is a good tune to do some shaking too, with a healthy Drum and bass meets 80's computer games noises, to fight over control of the oscillators.

Poison Machine is anarcho, anti-syndicalist, pacifist, environmentalist electronica, pleading for us all to treat the earth and soil more considerately, stop poisoning the planet, this is a tune to play at extinction rebellion events.

Sur Thetrace is music to travel with, take a trip to other lands, go back to ancient Thrace if you must, but go hit that trail, find the traces of your lives over the beats of your footsteps, find that place that connection.

Each Tone is early morning mantra for the world as we listen to each tone, insane black rain, ozone back to the planet vibes, eat rice fight for human rights.

Fritz A Paris features Adriano Celantano as the lost Fritz in Paris like China lost in Tokio Airport again, the buzzing of the streets, cars rush by straying towards the Pigalle as the whips crack bip hop style. Like they have gone down into the catacombs in search of the real Paris as the rain starts to shatter on the roof.

Lez Vagues De Hertz is a collection of Hertz waves interweaving to create tonal harmony and disharmony, take some deep breaths, let the sound waves stretch your body, let fly through the cosmos, meditating mutating the bells, singing bowls prayer for the new dawn mesmeric.
