Review: 'A Cloud Of Ravens'
'Nature of Artifice'

-  Label: 'Nexilis Records'
-  Genre: 'Industrial' -  Release Date: '11.11.22.'

Our Rating:
A Cloud Of Ravens are Goth-Post-Punk duo from New York, Nature of Artifice is the second single from the bands third album Lost Hymns that's due out 24th February on Nexilis Records of Berlin. A Cloud Of Ravens are Matthew McIntosh and Beth Narducci.

Nature Of Artifice opens with a repeating motif that builds into a slow-moving goth dancefloor song to slowly glide along too, while looking at all the Artifice we are surrounded by, as the strings kick in, the beat keeping things other worldly.

The Blackest Mantra has dark hued drums, soaring guitars, EBM goth to stomp about the dancefloor too, like The Mission or The Wake, but with vocals that have hints of late 80's Bowie, as this draws you deep within the abyss where The Blackest Mantra is all that's left.
