Review: 'Silverfall'
'3 Track Sampler'

-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '23rd April 2007'

Our Rating:
Yes, it would be accurate to say that Silverfall is a modern folk band, with pretty vocals and emotive piano arrangements that are well rounded and progress dynamically through each of their tracks with delicacy and skill but there is more to this band than that. There is something more special; more tender to the sound, something that should not be over analysed and articulated with words, good music is something that can stimulate an emotional impulse, however irrational or out of the ordinary that impulse is, and this band’s music does just that.

Silverfall plays the sound of a broken heart, so that when love whirls through the streets and wild steps change to untamed rhythms, Silverfall will brush against you, Silverfall will not pass you but rack the value of what your heart has lost, what possession could not show you and become the shelter for your heart.

There is no way to produce an account of this band, how do you measure the ability of a band? There is only one tool to do this, there on the side of your head. Listen to Silverfall!
