The Tamborines are a 3-piece rock/indie band from Brazil, though they are currently based in London. "31st Floor/Come Together" is their new double A-side single. It is about to be released on very limited edition clear vinyl 7”.

“31st Floor” really is a good song. It has a definite “indie” feel, but has a darker, fuzzy/droning guitar sound akin to a more melodic (and much less harsh) My Bloody Valentine.

“Come Together” is more classically “indie” in sound, with nods to the Stone Roses, early Oasis and 60s guitar pop, but it retains some of the fuzzy guitar sound. It is much lighter than 31st Floor, and is the weaker of the two tracks.

Definitely ones to look out for, this is promising stuff.
