Welcome to Club Smith.
Born in 2009, the Leeds band have drawn on personal experiences to create something unworldly unique, with the lyrics focussing on a whirlwind of misdirection and lack of focus. Brooding with a dark undercurrent and daunting rhythms Club Smiths' songs rumble quietly into epic slow-burning anthems.
Hidden within The Loss EP are unique pop songs tinkered to perfection. With James Kenosha* and Jamie Ellis’** production each track flows with a warm intensity.
With videos to come from 2 of Leeds' top young film-makers, remixes from Kaiser Chiefs and Co-Pilots (Jamie Ellis/Russell Bloc Party), and having been selected for live dates with The Sunshine Underground, Johnny Foreigner & Das Pop, 2010 looks set to cement Club Smith as the true force they deserve to be.
Club Smith are- Sam (vocals, guitar), Neil (keys, samples, vocals), Lee (bass, vocals) and Vijay (drums)
