Anticipation is building around the release of The Bowerbirds' third LP "The Clearing" in early March. The album's epic opening track "Tuck The Darkness In" went straight to number 1 on Hype Machine when released online last month, whetting people's appetites for this most beguiling release. In other good news the band have just announced a four-date UK tour for early May, performing in Leeds, Manchester, Brighton and London.
"The Clearing" is the third album by Bowerbirds, and as is often the case for bands that have found steady success, they had more time and better resources to make it. This is a bigger record, with bolder sounds, a broader scope, and more complex songs.
