17 January 2012

"Forgotten Songs", set for release on 30th January, is the self-released debut single from Birmingham's Capital Sun.

The track has been produced by Grammy-nominated producer Chris Tsangarides, who had previously worked with the uncle of singer Glen Boden. After having seen Tsangarides' work on the critically acclaimed film "Anvil – The Story of Anvil", Boden contacted him about producing and mixing the track and was met with a resounding "yes".

With the band only having formed around a year ago, in the winter of 2010, it marks the perfect start for the foursome who have been lined up as the support for a date on The Enemy's upcoming tour and opening for Simon Townshend [brother of The Who's Pete]. The band will be heading out on the road to support the release and showcase further tracks.
