Brooklyn's We Are Augustines are getting set to follow up the success of their debut UK single "Book of James" with the release of "Chapel Song" on 27th February via Oxcart Records. The track opens their much anticipated debut album "Rise Ye Sunken Ships", recently awarded Alternative Album of 2011 at iTunes in the US and scheduled for release in the UK on 5th March.

Billy McCarthy describes the track as "a song about witnessing an old flame and bride-to-be walk down the aisle to be married. So often in life, it is difficult for us to keep a good face on the outside while our insides are burning. Hollow handshakes and blank stares at a wedding sum up the sentiment here."

We Are Augustines will be playing live at a number of shows in February, with more to be announced soon.

2nd February - Borderline, London, UK (HMV Next Big Thing with Admiral Fallow and others) (sold-out)
8th February - Paradiso, Amsterdam, NL (supporting The Maccabees)
