Norwegian alternative pop sensation Kalandra release the outstanding video for their latest single “Borders”, filmed by Ragnarok Film who recently produced two thrillng videos for Wardruna. “Borders” is the second song unveiled from their upcoming debut full-length album 'The Line'.
About the track the band comments:
“In essence, the song is about witnessing your own vulnerability in comparison to the massive forces that move the world. The video tries to convey that feeling through several intertwining narratives. The video was made by the brilliant people in Ragnarok Film and we had a wonderful time shooting it and exploring the beautiful locations around central Norway.”
Kalandra continue, "The song was inspired by the picturesque nature of Iceland, where the black volcanic sand along the beaches meets the raging Nordic seas. It’s about witnessing your own vulnerability in comparison to the massive forces that move the world. As humans on this Earth we wish to control our surroundings so that life can be a little bit more predictable. Inevitably we’ll all be confronted with our own death and must find acceptance through seeing the world as it truly is.”
