If you are a fan of pop/soul/tribal/jazz songs then Sangally might just be more up your street than he is mine.
Parisian Chez Sangally's dad was a bluesman but this four track EP shows he likes to mix up his genres more papa.
Ride is the obvious single, catchy to the point of irritation with its repeated mantra "We got- we got -we got so much feeling".
Shaman, Melody and Share My Love are the other radio-friendly sized numbers.
All are sung in English and pitched at a mainstream market. As with the majority of commercial pop of this ilk, slick production values come before emotional content. The result is music that goes in one ear and out the other without unduly troubling the brain cells.
