Natasha Nicholls' track Paradox is an excellent example of unsigned music reaching a wider audience whilst still maintaining musical integrity.
Musically it has a slight grungy rocky style but with Natasha's own spin on it. Instrumentally the track is quite interesting, all of the elements gel really well together and create a tight sound. The guitars contrast well with use of picked 5ths in the verses and the strong punchy chords in the chorus really helping to lift the chorus and add interest to the verses.
Lyrically it is something we can all relate to and it is obvious that Natasha has an extreme talent for songwriting. Overall this song is an excellent effort from the young songwriter. The song builds well however, in the future I would like to see Natasha step the production up a notch and add more layers to create a bigger sound that hits with more of an impact.
