Review: 'Damn Vandals'
'Mad As Hell / This Music Blows My Tiny Mind'

-  Label: 'Sexy Beast'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '23rd February 2015'

Our Rating:
Released in 2014, Damn Vandals’ second album is a belter, brimming with big-bollocked rock ‘n’ roll swagger, grit and attitude. Best of all, it’s bursting with songs, every one of which could be a single. So it only seems fair that they’re systematically releasing double a-side singles from it. Following on from the grimy, sleazy ‘Cities of a Plastic World’, which was paired with ‘Too Lazy to Die, Too Stoned to Live’, they land the double whammy of ‘ Mad As Hell’ and ‘This Music Blows My Tiny Mind’.

Between them, they encapsulate everything that’s great about the album, and indeed, the band. Low-slung basslines, punk as fuck guitars and sneery, phlegmy vocals are all present and correct here, and once again show why Damn Vandals are one of the coolest bands going right now.
