The press blurb announces that ‘Equinox’ is the brand new single by baffling grunge - soul Glaswegian gutter-rockers The Girobabies. While such a sentence should probably not exist, there is certainly something quintessentially Scottish about these guys.
There’s a brash confidence and a sneering, snarling edge to the choppy, crunched-out guitar that’s hard to knock and the band’s ‘No budget, no label, no management, no rules’ ethos is as admirable as their chunky guitar-led tunes.
