Catharsis, the closing number on this 6 track, 24 minute EP is aptly titled. A release of pent up emotional tension, primarily rage, appears as the force behind this five-piece from "the depths of Bristol".
This is also confirmed by the preceding track,Creation Theory, which begins with Michael Caine reading the much quoted opening lines from Dylan Thomas's 'Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night', lifted from the movie Interstellar.
Singer Ben Errington proudly says of the band's second mini album: "These new songs are both the most chaotic and the most heartfelt we've put together".
The opener, Green & Gold, softens up the listener with a melodic prog rock atmospherics but the heavy riffs and savage vocals of King Of Snakes pronounce there will be "no rest for the broken hearted".

The standout track is Necromancer which blasts out with genuine sense of foreboding.
Thereafter, with the impressive power of a juggernaut pounding down the highway, the metalcore maelstrom drives us towards a controlled yet cathartic finale.
