There is a scene in The Godfather where a man down on his luck breaks down in tears in front of Vito Corleone. "I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do", he cries. Corleone (Marlon Brandon) reacts angrily, shaking him with the words "You can act like a man! Whatsa matter with you?"
Not the most sensitive response, admittedly, but I confess to much the same feelings when hearing the five sad tunes on this EP.
While I sympathise with the slough of despond the folk singer finds himself in, the sentiments here amount to little more than pleas to 'make the world go away'.

"What's wrong with me, all these years I have no idea of who to be", is his woeful lament on Hunted while on the title track he notes ruefully "No matter where I go I am always chasing rain".
Fragile, fearful and fatalistic, the songs are plainly cries for help but offer no solid grounds for sympathy.
