Review: 'LORD YOUTH'
'Lord Youth EP'

-  Label: 'Self Released'
-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '17th June 2016'

Our Rating:
The eight songs of "downbeat rock'n'roll" on this EP (playing time 24 minutes) are about New York. This is also where Lord Younth aka Micah Blaichman lives, in Queens.

The city is personified as one half of a dead or dying relationship. The singer sounds like he came out of it worst. He sounds broken and angry and lacking in either the drive or will to fight back.

The key tracks of despondency are the single, Gray Gardens, and Cypress Grove while one minute blow out of Moonbelly and wake up call of What's That Sound suggest there's some youthful energy in the old Lord yet.
