Review: 'DECANTER / FASCIA'
'Split (EP)'

-  Label: 'Falk Records'
-  Genre: 'Dance' -  Release Date: '12th July 2017'-  Catalogue No: 'FALK16'

Our Rating:
This limited edition split 12” disc (just 50 vinyl copies) features five tracks from two of Iceland’s techno young Guns.

Fascia is the first official release of Björn Leo Brynjarsson who started out studying classical music before getting hooked on electronic music after living in Germany.

Nakd is a thumping slab of hardcore bass heavy Dubstep rhythms while Turist would be suited to a moody scene in a gangster movie.

The beats of Decanter, aka producer Hrafnkell   Lindal, are slightly busier so might suit a chase sequence in the same movie. His three tracks are ,in order, Chordates, RFE2 and Thagomizer with the heaviest and deepest being saved for last.

Falk (Fuck Art Let's Kill) records' resident poets speak of "Heady sounds of cave raves and old skool parties deep in the forest" and if you can imagine what this might sound like you're already half way to being one of the target audience.
