Review: 'LOGAN, KIM & THE SILHOUETTES'
'Shadow Work'

-  Label: 'Swamp Thing Records'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '7th April 2020'

Our Rating:
I take Kim Logan's word for the fact that she is a classically trained opera singer with a degree from Berklee College of Music.

Tattooed and punky, she looks more like a typical rebel rocker. Certainly, there's nothing remotely operatic about her singing on her second LP.

The Florida-based singer is backed by a Parisian band and the album was recorded at Infrasonic Sound in Nashville.

The background to this record may be unconventional but the music they make is not.

The nine songs are uninspired and uninspiring R'nB numbers with predictable lyrics and pre-punk 70s style arrangements.

Got to find a Better Way, she sings. I'll second that.
