Lost Cause is the lead single from The Persian Leaps, who are from Minneapolis/St Paul, new EP Simmering lessons.
The song is a very familiar sounding indie power pop rocker that thankfully sounds nothing like the Smiths as claimed in the press release, to me it has more in common with say Velvet Crush or Paul Westerburg's solo stuff, it's catchy and well will Kathy ever forgive this lost cause we hope so. If the rest of the Ep us as good as this, then the album that's set to follow it will be unmissable.
