Review: 'Cromwell, Rodney'
'Opus Three'

-  Label: 'Happy Robots/Bandcamp'
-  Genre: 'Dance' -  Release Date: '3.2.22.'

Our Rating:
Opus Three is the latest single from South London based electronic artist Rodney Cromwell (Adam Cresswell) and is part of his forthcoming new album Memory Box that's out on Happy Robots Records March 18.

Once this gets going it's a bit of a dancefloor banger with nicely down at heel vocals that deadpan the lyrics of lockdown despair and a life that's turned to catastrophe as you sashay apart from the world on this catchy electro-pop song. It will get stuck in your head almost as much as earlier single Fax Machine Break-up did.

Perception Management is one of those terms that perfectly sums up some of the madness currently surrounding us all as the keyboard tones gently worm their way into your brain and you try to perceive the world as it was in the before times rather than how the powers that be think we should perceive living now.
