Review: 'Black Nite Crash'
'The Take'

-  Label: 'Neon Sigh/Bandcamp'
-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '24.8.22.'

Our Rating:
The Take is the first single from Washed In The Sound With Black Nite Crash that is this Seattle based bands fifth album in 20 years, as ever the band revolves about only original member Jim Beggs.

The Take opens with slow ominous drums and a reverb laden guitar as this dark alternative rock song with nods towards Gallon Drunk and Salem 66 unfurls like an out-take from Shotgun Wedding although the vocals aren't as dirty as Lydia Lunch and Rowland S. Howards were, either way this is very cool and worth hearing a good few times to let everything seep in as you wallow in the intricacies of the relationship that reveal themselves.
