Review: 'European Sun'
'There Is No News'

-  Label: 'Wiaiwya Records/Skep Wax/Bandcamp'
-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '13.9.22.'

Our Rating:
This single is a foretaste of European Suns forthcoming new album When Britain Was Great that will be coming out on WIAIWYA Records.

To celebrate the singles release, the band are selling sets of Commemorative drinks coasters and fridge magnets that are available from www.skepwax.bandcamp The Current line-up of European Sun are Ian Button, Steve Miles, Amelia Fletcher and Rob Pursey.

Friday the 18th April 1930 was the day that the BBC decided that There Is No News to report on its nightly news broadcast, oh to live in a time where that might be even a remote possibility, this song delights in reportage indie, describing the scene, how it played out with some scratchy guitar and I assume vocals being sung through an old school valve radio microphone.
