Review: 'Crawford Mack ft. Daisy Chute'
'Parallel Roads'

-  Genre: 'Indie'

Our Rating:
American-Scottish singer, Daisy Chute, and Glaswegian alt-indie singer, Crawford Mack, have come together to bring us some new music! The new single, ‘Parallel Roads’, sees the duo duetting while singing about their feelings for one another. A song with lyrics that catch you and vocal performances that ensure you stick around, make sure you get to know ‘Parallel Roads’!

Kicking the single off is Crawford Mack, who gives a gentle vocal introduction that leads into Daisy Chute doing the same, both working together on the platform provided to them by the acoustic guitar. An instantly likeable song, the lyrics tell a story, and the vocalists sing it perfectly without a second of imperfection. Dovetailing very nicely together, it’s a duet that makes this song what it is.

A fantastic piece of music, it’s clear to see that ‘Parallel Roads’ is a song written from the heart, with a lot of emotion put into the performances. The two sides allow a story to form throughout, creating an engaging listen that feels so personal yet so relatable.

With the release of this new single, Daisy Chute has decided to go back to her Scottish roots, and perform over three nights in Scottish cities, with the support of her ‘Parallel Roads’ collaborator, Crawford Mack, it is sure to be an unforgettable night in each venue! With performances at:

•?????25th November Blue Lamp, Aberdeen
•?????26th November Voodoo Rooms,F Edinburgh
•?????27th November Larick Centre Fife, with additional support from Tayport-born Elisabeth Flett.

With a new single and new shows coming up, Daisy Chute & Crawford Mack are on course for a bright future. With impeccable vocal skills and music that is so inviting, you’d be a fool to miss out on them and their latest single!
