Fire is the first single from Jesse Blake Rundle an American folk artist from Boise Idaho's second album Next Town's Trees. This is his first album since leaving the church, coming out as gay, finding sobriety and focusing on his music. It explores who he really is, how much American gay camouflage is made out of referencing various kinds of wood.
Fire slowly fades in, this is cool folk jazz, questioning vocals, slowly revealing themselves against the brass, as he hopes they can all break bread together once the fire is dowsed. Hoping life can find a better new normal.
