Review: 'Bellwether Syndicate,The'
'Beacons'

-  Label: 'Sett Records/Nexilis records/Bandcamp'
-  Genre: 'Industrial' -  Release Date: '2.12.22.'

Our Rating:
Beacons is the second single to come from Chicago Based The Bellwether Syndicate's latest album Vestige & Vigil that's due out in April. The Bellwether Syndicate are the current band of William Faith who has been in Christian Death, Shadow Project and many others, alongside his wife Scary Lady Sarah legendary goth DJ at the Cabaret Metro in Chicago and Corey Gorey, Stevyn Grey and Philly Peroxide. This single was produced by William Faith and Chad Blinman. They will be touring North America in March with Clan Of Xymox.

Beacons is dark distressed alternative goth rock, with insistent riff, vocals with 69 Eyes twisted through The Cult into a different distortion, as that riff won't let up, you surrender to the music, stomping across the dank dancefloor.

Dystopian Mirror, that was the first single, has a far more industrial goth sound, pounding drums, angry vocals trying to make sense of the modern world, while all they see in that Mirror is Dystopian pain, suffering fear, over soaring guitars, rambunctious bass, searching for a way to take the shame away, without losing your mind, if it wasn’t lost already.
