This EP features nice, crisp, high quality unplugged recordings of five tracks that subsequently appeared on Ty Segall’s ‘Hello, Hi’ solo album.
The songs were performed during a free show in July 2022 at a Highland Park vintage clothing store in California before an enthusiastic audience.
Sounding like an Americanised Marc Bolan, the directness and simplicity on the Segall’s tunes shines through.
As he sings on Don’t Lie: “No matter how you do it/ It’s going to turn out right”
