Review: 'Right Here, The'
'Reckless Kind/Molly'

-  Label: 'I-94 Recordings/Bandcamp'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '14.7.22'-  Catalogue No: 'I-94-014'

Our Rating:
This was the fourth instalment in I-94 Recordings series of Detroit covers. This time featuring Minneapolis band The Right Here covering Molly (Sixteen Candles Down the Drain) that was originally by Sponge. The single is available in a variety of colors and nicely packaged. The Right Here are Luke Lecheler, Brandon Stein, Lewis Miller and Adam Petersen.

Reckless kind is speedy pop punk instructions for what you might need to do to get some sleep at night, while being a bit obsessed by Green Day.

The cover of Sponge's Molly almost feels like they are playing it like Dramarama would, as the bitter regret at the rejection of the carefully planned seduction that has left them 16 Candles Down The Drain may well leave you singing along with them, hoping for a better date next time you invest in all those candles.
