Review: 'Shah-Tayler, Julian'
'Fall Apart'

-  Label: 'Deezer/i-tunes'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: '29.9.23.'

Our Rating:
Fall Apart is the latest single by Julian Shah-Tayler AKA The Singularity. For once I find myself really liking this single, which as I usually clash with Julian's music is a pleasant surprise, coming from an act I have been hearing for years since I first saw him playing with Whitey. This may have something to do with the fact that his current projects includes working with Mike Garson, Carmine Rojas and David J in The Band That Fell To Earth.

Fall Apart has a synth pop sheen to this delicate live song as life falls apart once more, this is easily the best single I've heard from Julian, I love the strings that come in during the breakdown, that makes this have echoes of Scott Walkers later material. As the tune builds back up the longing comes through in the vocals on this rather catchy song.
