Review: 'Death/Rough Francis'
'World In Disguise/Haunted'

-  Label: 'Drag City Records'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '17.11.23.'-  Catalogue No: 'DC906'

Our Rating:
This split single puts together the totally legendary Detroit hard rockers Death who hit the comeback trail back in 2009 with Bobby and Julian Hackney's young pretenders to the hard rocking crown Rough Francis featuring Bobby Hackney Jnr and Urian Hackney making this a family affair.

The A side in hard rock legends Death singing World In Disguise that has a super charged riff, heavy as they come drums and vocals gruffly shouted like an American Lemmy, the guitars really go off on the short intense solo, this is a great fist pumping blast of energy.

The AA Side is Haunted by Rough Francis who give us a modern take on Death's imperious Detroit hard rock sound, this has equally hard-hitting guitars and an insistent beat making clear just how Haunted they are.
