Our Rating:
As with Ghosted I Ambarchi/Berthling/Werliin have gone back to Stockholm to record once more at Studio Rymden the album is produced by Daniel Bengtsson, before being mixed and mastered by Joe Talia at Good Mixture in Melbourne.

The album opens with En or One if you prefer it in English rather than Swedish, blaxploitation funky guitar part, with rim shot percussion, drums sound like they are played by hand, rather than sticks. Steady rhythm allowing space for exploratory guitar to lead us off towards the halfway breakdown, things slowly build back up, you drift within the all-encompassing meditative dronescape.

Tva or Two slowly emerges from a musical cocoon through repeating motifs to chill things out, this is super restful laid back zone out music.

Tre or Three takes an almost Tango beat allowing the bass to figure out ways of luring you into this relaxed world, without being totally supine, notes float imperiously over the gently evocative rhythm.

The album concludes with Fyra or Four that has a nod or two towards the Yellow Magic Orchestra, calm as can be bassline, an almost Japanese opera style guitar figure, that really ought to be played on a traditional old instrument, the exploratory nature of the drum pattern stretches things outwards.
