The Rallies from Seattle, Washington specialise in catchy power pop. It’s all about the jingle-jangle.
The video for the first single from this album - I Believe - nods towards Britain more than the States.
It’s all cheerfully retro so this is not a record that you expect to break any new ground. The 60s sound is replicated very efficiently.
The freshness of the melodies is what matters and after fifteen years together this four-piece band still manage to convey enthusiasm and enjoyment.
Any one of the eleven groovy tracks could be a single. What can you say but: Fab!
