Our Rating:
The CD to this song also contains the video.

The video has Bam Margera of Jackass driving a car with a great big knob on the front and a large banana on the back. As Bam is driving you hear lyrics like “Vulcanize the whoopee stick/In the ham wallet” and “Pressure wash the quiver bone/In the bitch wrinkle”.

I may be stretching here but I suspect that these lyrics are euphemisms for putting a penis in a vagina.

In honour of the director I have decided to embrace the subtle undercurrents of the video and call Bam’s car, ‘The Car That Has A Great Big Knob On The Front And A Large Banana On The Back’.

Bam drives his car past sweating women working on the road in bikinis. They are attractive and lick their lips a lot. He reaches a tunnel entrance and stops, sticks his head out of the window and smiles. He smiles because he has found a big hole for ‘The Car That Has A Great Big Knob On The Front And A Large Banana On The Back’.

I may have lost the plot but I’m sure that this is a visual reference to the idea of putting a penis in a vagina.

At the other end of the tunnel is a sweaty man working on the road in just a pair of speedos. Bam stops ‘TCTHAGBKOTFAALBOTB’, gets out and gives the man a real banana. The man peels and eats the banana in one big bite and groans pleasurably. This shot is shown side on.

I may be reading too much into this but I think this shot is trying to replicate something that would be shown in a porn film. Except that instead of a banana there would be a penis. As it’s a man it would probably be gay porn.

I could be barking up the wrong tree here but I think the director is playing with our preconceptions of how the video would end.

The video is occasionally inter-cut with shots of BLOODHOUND GANG miming to the song. Perhaps confused by the subtlety of the many layers on which the video director is operating the singer opines “Put the you know what in the you know where” and then sticks his finger in the guitarist’s nose.

I may be completely off course here but a small voice inside tells me that I should have been laughing at this point.
