Not content with fronting cult-reggae group Fat Freddy's Drop (as championed by Giles Peterson and Zane Lowe no less) vocalist Joe Dukie also lends his super-smooth tones to this track by German dub-duo BOOZO BAJOU. The Original Version combines his loved-up vocal with a laid back reggae groove and lush Fender Rhodes to mesmerizing effect. The jury is still out on the U-Brown MC-ing. With its classic Jamaican-Roots feel it at times feels a little too over-powering for this otherwise quite mellow track.
Mousse-T drops the MC-ing for his Easy-Ride Remix and instead drapes the song in Bacharach-style orchestration layering up the strings and the horn sections recalling John Legend and even Barry White (though in a higher key!) The Seiji remix is a little more take-it-or-leave-it. A dance-floor driven number, it utilizes the U-Brown's contribution far more effectively against it's Breakbeat feel along with a rather cut-and-paste feel vocal. It's not a bad track- but doesn't seem to punch its weight alongside the other versions.

The highlight of the single is undoubtedly Mousse-T's re-working of the song, even eclipsing the original, it takes what is a good reggae song and turns it into an excellent pop-song- it has such a soulful vibe that you can barely stop your head bobbing or your foot tapping. In a better world it would invade the charts, but short of that, add it to your collection as one of those undiscovered treasures.
