COCO ELECTRIK are a band championed by Tom Vek- but it’s hard to see why. ‘Sex Shooter’ is a funky, electronic number, which as its name suggests, oozes of sex appeal, but its downfall is that there are striking similarities between Coco Electrik (aka Anne Booty) and Alison Goldfrapp to the point where it’s difficult to distinguish between them.
Both women are beautiful and talented lead singers of electric pop bands with a stylish taste in clothes. Its not hard to imagine Booty gyrating on stage, horses tail flicking in time to the drum beats, luring over excited male fans to listen to songs which although on first listen sound sharp and jazzy, sound less and less appealing with every listen.
