Review: 'MISSILEER'
'BREATHE'

-  Label: 'MISSILEER (via Genepool Distribution)'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: 'January 2006'

Our Rating:
There is nothing not to like about this song, yet for some reason, it is difficult to warm to. Lead singer Jo Price has a strong, throaty and clear voice which helps drive the record along guiding the elaborate backing band complete with soaring violins, screaming guitars and a twanging bass line.

‘Breathe’ is not too fast, nor slow, rocky or poppy- it’s just the right mixture of funk and soul combined with an rough and ready sound. All the elements are there for the perfect pop song, but sadly it still fails to deliver that special something that distinguishes an ordinary tune into a song which makes you sit up and listen.
