Review: 'LOVE, ROBERT'
'GHOST FLIGHT'

-  Label: 'ONE LITTLE INDIAN (www.indian.co.uk)'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: 'March 2006'

Our Rating:
Robert Love is a man not afraid to wear his influences on his sleeve, and his debut album ‘Ghost Flight’ harks back to the nostalgia of good old fashioned folk, rock and jazz songs in the style of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and The Velvet Underground. Each track is wonderfully crafted and meticulously thought through right down to the very last guitar twang and shake of tambourine.

With his distinctive, deep, gravely voice each of Robert Love’s songs tell a story, be it one about women, drink or god and backed by beautiful guitar melodies, a catchy drum beat and a haunting pedal steel, makes this album ideal for gentle background listening.
