The Sunshine Underground are a quartet from Leeds who are brilliant at delivering fast paced, catchy disco rock tunes, perfect to dance around to in any indie club near you. Their latest single ‘I Ain’t Losing Any Sleep’ doesn’t fail to disappoint with syncopated hi-hat beats and a tune you’d be
proud to nod to nod your a-symmetric haircutted head along to.
B-sides ‘Who Called The Dandy?’ and ‘Somebody’s Always Getting In The Way’ are more gentle, laid back offerings, which show off the band’s more serious, sensitive side and help demonstrate that here is a group who have more up proverbial sleeves than first imagined.
