Our Rating:
Two and a half years ago, Saves The Day were every teenage boy's wet dream. Their name was synonymous with legends such as Green Day, Weezer and Dash Board Confessional and it seemed that the band could do no wrong with their album ‘In Reverie’ selling out without any promotion from their record label. Then the record label went bust and the band seemed to be about to spilt.

Luckily though this didn’t happen and the group are back with ‘Sound The Alarm’ an album full of angst, anger and heartfelt vocals from lead singer Chris Conley. Their songs are tuneful and melodic yet at the same time hint at a deeper underlying anger, and although the album is essentially emo rock- it is not too hardcore as to alienate any listeners. It is the perfect mix of raw energy and attitude that will surely get the band to become icons for another wave of impressionable teenagers.
