Oh hell. This is like a test of some kind. I'm not sure I'm the right man for the job.
You might forgive me taking three attempts to work out that the distinctive but sliced up guitar chords in the remix of "Easy/Lucky/Free" are taken from CAT POWER's "Free" … but I know you'll be disappointed at me giving up on the task of finding songs called "Easy" (yeh, COMMODORES, I know. But I'm not listening all the way through to identity the cymbal splash or whatever) or "Lucky". And the aetiology of additions to Lazer Beam could be anything. Just anything. Not Jay Z, the Beatles or Gnarls Barclay probably. But you never know.
I sense you'll know that my real problem is that I have a review copy of a 7" vinyl single with a picture sleeve and no information at all. The disc roundels have DM01, and that's it. All enquiries lead to blanks. This, I am forced to assume, is the Brian Burton way.

Put it like this. Producer/enigma/work freak/GORILLAZ (p/t)/GNARLS BARCLAY geezer/DANGER MOUSE has two of his neat remixes here on a piece of quality vinyl. You might be excited to get hold of it. Maybe you already have it. Maybe try eBay.
If you really like SUPER FURRY ANIMALS and BRIGHT EYES these remixes won't improve your life a great deal. The SUPER FURRY remix, at least, was around in 2005 at the same time as the album. But if the whole mash up tricksy world of cognoscenti producers and beats fizzes your sherbet then I guess you stopped reading a while back to rush off and make sure you have this in your collection.
I just know the joke is on me. But I'm content. I have my copy now and it’s pretty good.
